I struggle with overcoming cravings and changing mindset as well, and Im sure many others out there (regardless of what point they are at in their weight loss journey) do as well. The first 3 days are the hardest when transitioning to keto/low carb diets. However, once I passed the third day slump, I found my cravings for sugar dissipated. When I had cravings (or moreso, when I had headaches from detoxing the sugar out of my body) I would drink peppermint tea.
Just remember: food is fuel. You want to replenish your body and treat it well. The best way to do that is to feed it food thats good for your body, but also feed it with occasional food thats good for your soul. Allow yourself indulgences and cheat meals and you will find it much easier to stick with a clean diet in the long run.
